Ever wondered how Ed creates his excellent videos? Well here's how:
Videos since July 2018 will have been recorded on the Nikon D3200. This was purchased second-hand from http://pixelcorner.co.uk/. This has produced several great videos in full HD. Unfortunately, the frame rate of the camera is very low (25 fps) and so is not the best for slow-motion shots. It shoots onto a Toshiba Exeria 16 GB SD card and a Kingston USB 3 SD card adapter is used to connect it to the computer.
Server Grindelwald is the computer used to edit the footage recorded from the camera. It currently has a 3TB Seagate Barra-Cuda drive attached to store the large video files. The editing software used is HitFilm, available for free from https://fxhome.com/. This is used in conjunction with Inkscape and GIMP to create the stunning videos that we all know and love from ETT.
In more recent videos, DaVinci Resolve 15 has been used as an alternative software as it offers additional features. Due to the fact that the public beta is used, it is slower than compared with Hitfilm express. To download your copy go to: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/uk/products/davinciresolve/fusion
